What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi permanent tattoo thats is done manually with a blade. The technique is done by making fine cuts into the first layers of the skin that mimic hair strokes and depositing pigment into the strokes. Microblading is the naturalist tattoo for the brows on the market!
How long does it last?
Microblading can last up to 12-18 months. Results vary upon clients skin, aftercare and everyday lifestyle.
Does Microblading hurt?
During procedure there is a 2 part numbing process. Before beginning we apply a topical numbing that sits on the skin for 25 mins and another numbing is applied after the first past, once skin is broken. Procedure is minimal discomfort but pain does vary per individual.
How long does it take?
Appointment is a maximum of 2 hours. During your appointment we go over your consult, brow mapping, 25 min numbing wait, and procedure. Actual Microblading process takes 25-35 mins!
How long is healing?
Microblading healing takes about 10 days. The first 2 days your brows will oxidize and appear darker, 3 to 5 days your brows will start to flake/peel and underneath will be your very light strokes! This process should be done around 8 to 10 days where you may then continue to use your normal daily products on and around brows.
Can I get it over previous tatted brows?
Every case is different and not everyone is a candidate to still receive the Microblading technique, depending on the shape, undertone and darkness of brow. For accurate results send an email with picture of brows and explain how long its been, problem areas etc. Some previous tatted brows may be a better candidate for Powder Brows.
